Reflection: I think Gusde did a great job. We had an opportunity to discuss many of his ideas for the digipak development and eventually landed on the perfect idea which was inspired by Radiohead.

Classwork: Persona+Brand

I think this mind map is quite helpful because it helped us understand our concept and motive on a deeper level, as the questions forced us to think harder to be able to put our visions clearly into words. The questions being asked were so detailed that we were able to write down most of our expectations and goals into a single mind map. Additionally, this mind map will also keep us on track, making sure that we don't stray away from our original concept and ideas.

Reflection: For this classwork, we made sure to specify in a way thats easily understandble and doable for us. It took a little longer than expected but overall I think we did pretty well on this classwork.

Screen Test

 This is our audience feedback made by me, and the answers from maisie.

I think that gathering feedback is important because it helps us improve and allows us to come up with new ideas. Other people might see mistakes or weak points that we do not see, hence another pair of eyes will help us perfect our MV. Additionally, gathering feedback can give us different perspectives and better ways to do things, allowing us to upgrade the quality of our final result. 

Most of these answers don't have complaints about our MV so far. Remembering that our genre leans more to the niche side (the people we asked don't listen to our genre of choice that much), this might explain why we don't have specific and detailed answers about which parts could be disappointing. 

However, one of the answers did point out an honest mistake of ours due to the lack of preparation. Since our original vocalist wasn't able to attend, we had to find a substitute in just a matter of minutes. We didn't have enough time to prepare and brief our substitute, hence he came underprepared. If we have enough time after getting most of our things done, we might consider reshooting the band scene with better preparation and planning.

Reflection: When making the questions, the only challenge I had was to figure out a way to ask the question in a detailed way that allows the individual to be able to explain and provide criticism or feedback without making the question too long or too confusing. I did make the questions with the help of my team members which helped a lot.

Classwork: Theory of Stardom

My chosen star for this theory is Dream, a famous youtuber in the gaming industry. He is not a music star, but I chose him to gain knowledge so I can apply it as a case study in future work.

MS Classwork: Theory of Stardom 

Reflection: This is my theory of stardom case study. I chose a well known youtuber who peaked at around covid times (2019-2023). I was not particularly apart of the fandom, however I was quite well informed as it was very popular in social media such as Tiktok, Instagram and especially Youtube. Some parts such as love life may be difficult to talk about as Dream did not have a known lover (though he was "shipped" with one of his friends). But other than that it was amusing to go down this rabbit hole.

Filming Schedule

 This is our project's filming schedule, which was made by Sagara but moved to canva by Gusde in order for us to be able to embed it into our blogs.

Design

Reflection: This filming schedule was done easily by Sagara as there were no challenges and was pretty simple to make. However, we did have to keep changing or adding to it as we were not finished with our filming which was an inconvenience.

Reflection: The BTS was very fun and easy to make as we only need to take a couple of pictures and videos showing the process of our filming and maybe some bloopers. I had a great time working with my team as well as other members outside of our team such as Abhi, Gosha, and Bams.
